Idan is a founder and Managing Director of Beverly Capital. Prior to Beverly, Idan was Vice President of Products and Innovation at Mastercard. Idan led and managed teams of product managers, designers and engineers, optimizing processes, efficiency, and pushing forward strategic initiatives. He was also involved in deploying strategic capital and managing investment agreements, extensive diligence processes, and integration. Previously, Idan was a product leader at Amazon, leading both technical product development and strategic planning for cross-functional organizations of product managers, engineers, marketing/vendor managers, and designers.

Prior to his role at Amazon, Idan spent several years as a consultant at Ernst & Young (EY) within the Transaction Advisory Service group, focusing on corporate valuations & transaction integration. During this time, Idan conducted business valuations, financial modelling and feasibility studies. He specialized in crafting business plans and investor-oriented presentations for new enterprises, and consulted start-ups across industries including fashion, biotech, cyber security, defense industries, retail, and education, leading to significant capital raises.

Idan is an Israeli Special Forces Military veteran (rank Major), where he commanded teams for over a decade to execute extreme-complexity special ops field missions and managed high-stakes/high-risk initiatives, resulting in substantial contributions to the security of the state of Israel. Idan oversaw multi-year planning processes and partnered with the army’s most advanced technological units to design, test and deploy operational systems for field use.

Idan holds a Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A) from Columbia University and is a Israeli Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He holds dual undergraduate degrees in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University. He currently resides in New York City with his fiancé Olivia and their dog Teddy.
